Flavourings in Animal Nutrition

Fourteen Commission Implementing Regulations were published in the Official Journal on 17th January 2017. They concern the re-authorisation of more than 150 flavouring substances in animal nutrition. Restrictions of use are defined for almost all the substances, including recommended use levels, target animal species, incompatibilities, etc. Specifications are also set; minimum assay values are often more restrictive than those applying to flavouring substances for foodstuffs.
